Structural Characteristics

The lightweight flat gate valve features light weight and short face-to-face length, which helps reduce pipeline load and cut costs, suitable for installation scenarios with limited space.

1. The valve seat of lightweight flat gate valve is embedded with PTFE on the sealing surface, realizing dual sealing of PTFE-to-metal and metal-to-metal. The PTFE sealing surface can also wipe impurities on the gate slab. The valve seat adopts an O-ring sealing and floating seat structure with pre-tightening force, enabling bidirectional sealing at the inlet and outlet of the flat gate valve. Its opening and closing torque is half of that of conventional valves for easy operation.

2. The lightweight flat gate valve adopts a full bore design. The gate slab keeps fitting with the sealing surface whether fully open or fully closed, which protects the sealing surface from direct medium scouring and extends service life.

3. Grease injection valves are arranged on both the valve body and bonnet of the lightweight flat gate valve. Sealing grease injected from the body grease fitting flows to the seat sealing surface for auxiliary sealing to improve sealing performance. Grease injected via the bonnet grease fitting passes through the packing spacer to the clearance between valve stem and packing for auxiliary sealing and stable sealing performance.

4. The lightweight flat gate valve can automatically release high pressure inside the cavity when closed to ensure operation safety.

5. The lightweight flat gate valve adopts a fully enclosed structure with good protective performance to meet all-weather service conditions. A windowed structure with packing gland can be customized according to customer demands.
